1. Aquarius – 27% suggestive tweets

Taking the crown as the hottest star sign is Aquarius, with the highest percentage (27%) of suggestive tweets. Aquarians are spontaneous and bold, with a lust for fun that makes them full of life. Their unpredictable nature means that you will never know what they are truly thinking, making the mystery of an Aquarius fresh and exciting. Known to be physically stunning with a dreamy appearance, it is no surprise that this water sign ranks so highly.

2. Cancer – 21% suggestive tweets

Next up are Cancers with 21% suggestive tweets. Because of their sentimentality and tenderness, Cancers can be incredibly seductive. With a romantic and traditional style of flirting, Cancers find it easy to turn on the charm and seek out loyal, loving relationships. But beware – this loyalty comes at a cost as they will command your total attention. Highly adventurous and passionate, Cancers know how to have a good time and will often indulge in flirting with whomever they find attractive. Yet, possibly the most attractive traits of Cancers is their emotional intelligence and compassion.

3. Gemini & Aries – 11% suggestive tweets

Coming in joint third with 11% of suggestive tweets are Geminis. Geminis are incredibly intuitive individuals that exude confidence and positivity, both incredibly attractive traits. Often regarded as being ‘the life of the party’, their fun-loving personality is hard to shy away from. Aries are ruled by the red planet Mars, the planet of sex and war. As a fire sign, Aries are bold, defiant individuals and they won’t shy away from making the first move. They are incredibly passionate, intensely flirty and often overtly sexual in nature – making it hard to resist the pull of an Aries.

5. Leo – 7% suggestive tweets

As a fire sign symbolized by the lion, Leos are known for exuding confidence and commanding attention. With 7% of tweets about Leos being suggestive it is clear that these traits are considered attractive. Indeed, their bold personalities are often considered sexy. But a Leos magnetic appeal doesn’t just stem from their dominating presence but also their seductive, lovable nature. Once they trust you, they will reveal their vulnerabilities to you – making them stunningly attractive.

6. Pisces & Scorpio – 3% suggestive tweets

Although both Pisces and Scorpio take joint sixth place with just 3% suggestive tweets, they are still regarded as some of the more attractive signs of the Zodiac. Pisces are generally regarded to be visually attractive and their gentle and charming personality shines through, making them irresistible. They have a unique generosity that means they are instantly likable. Despite their sweet exteriors, Pisces are lustrous and have a great sense of sexual adventure.

With intense charm and charisma, Scorpios are in tune with their emotional energy. They have a dark and mysterious demeanor which makes them intriguing to the other signs. Not only this, but a Scorpio is highly adventurous and this carries on to their romantic and sexual relationships too.

Cancer tops the ranking, with 14% of the comedians researched belonging to this star sign. From Will Ferrell to Peter KayCancerians are known for their observational humor, which allows them to connect with their audience, says celebrity psychic and astrologer Inbaal Honigman.

In second place comes Sagittarius, with a score of 11.8%. Alongside GeminiSagittarians are ‘free spirits, unencumbered by social norms, and they’re caustic in their humour’, according to Honigman. Favorite Sagittarians include Sarah Silverman and Richard Pryor, who are known for weaving their own life experiences into their standup routines.

Virgo and Taurus make up joint third place, each making up 10.3% of the comics studied. Like Cancer, these signs love to observe, as shown by the quick-witted Virgo Sue Perkins, and king of the sitcom, Jerry Seinfeld, who is a Taurus.

When it comes to the signs at the bottom of the table, Aries and Aquarius take a joint score of just 5.1% each. But, Honigman is quick to remind us: ‘Aquarius isn’t un-funny, they’re just very, very subtle. Aquarians are funny in a quiet, deadpan, sarcastic way. They’re a very clever sign, and clever people are very funny, but in a way which is understood by other clever people.’
